Testimonials
“Nancy has been pivotal in creating a series of joint events with my program at NYU. Her extensive network of contacts has brought excellent speakers to the events. Her organizational skills and effective communication have made the programs effortless. Exactly what you’d expect working with a top-notch coach.”
In the eight years that I have had the extreme pleasure of being acquainted with Nancy Ancowitz, I have been continually inspired by her passion, positive energy, commitment, drive, and special spark. When managing the Office of Career Management at New York University’s School of Professional Studies, I was fortunate enough to have Nancy as an invaluable member of my adjunct team. Nancy’s expertise and dedication in empowering those of us that identify ourselves as introverts in reaching our maximum potential in a safe and supportive environment is only a piece of what makes Nancy such a dynamic and extraordinary teacher, facilitator, coach, and mentor. Nancy’s special spark that inspires clients, students and myself to feel that anything is possible is priceless. I highly recommend Nancy Ancowitz and am so grateful to have Nancy as a member of my team.
Nancy Ancowitz is the author of an excellent book entitled Self-Promotion for Introverts®. For those of us in extroverted professions, being an introvert may not seem possible—until Nancy proves otherwise. According to The New York Times, her book is ‘filled with tips written in a supportive tone.’ The Wall Street Journal says that the book shows ‘how quiet people can turn their innate strengths into an advantage when networking.’ Her career coaching with private clients and major corporations delivers individualized guidance in a reassuring, encouraging, and practical manner. As an educator and communication expert, Nancy shares her knowledge with her graduate students at NYU; as an expert source and contributor, her work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal and Psychology Today; and as a speaker at the Smithsonian Institution, the U.S. Navy, and the National Institutes of Health. From writing to speaking to consulting, Nancy is an indispensable career advancement and business communication resource.
As a foreigner learning to get into the complexities of corporate America, I found Nancy Ancowitz’s seminars and personal coaching extremely useful. She is not only skilled and professional, but also very amiable and helpful. I strongly recommend her.
Nancy Ancowitz is probably one of the best career coaches I have had the privilege to work with in my financial services career. First and foremost she is thorough and knowledgeable about all aspects of positioning yourself as an emerging leader who wants to promote oneself without bragging and speaking more effectively. I absolutely recommend Nancy because her personal integrity is impeccable, her product knowledge and expertise are exceptional and her superior talent in presentation and management skills make her a rare individual.
I count myself fortunate to have Nancy Ancowitz as my career advisor and coach. She is results-oriented, compassionate, highly responsive, and always focused on my best interests. As an introvert self-promotion expert, Nancy provides great insight and advice about strategically maximizing my quiet strengths. Nancy is also an active and generous networker; she teaches by example and empowerment. I am so grateful to have Nancy as my advisor and sounding board, and highly recommend her.
Follow Nancy’s lead – and her example. She’s a master marketer and networker. She’s also a mentor, a colleague, and a confessor. Who could ask for anything more in a business communication coach?
I have always relied on Nancy for a rare blend of insight, ingenuity, and pragmatism.
Nancy is a top-flight coach who has helped me tremendously with all aspects of my job search. After searching in a tough job market, I’ve landed a great position at a progressive company. And now I have the skills to continue building my professional network for the rest of my career. Nancy quickly gets to the heart of issues. I strongly recommend her to anyone.
I can only speak of Nancy Ancowitz in glowing terms. She is a master communicator with laser-sharp focus. Nancy honed in on my unique qualities and defined the value I would bring to my next job. I have since landed a wonderful new position in a completely new field!
With intelligence, grace, and sensitivity, Nancy Ancowitz helps to re-connect her clients to their own inner truths, the authentic source of confidence and wealth for all of us.
Nancy is a creative powerhouse with the keenest vision for identifying and articulating her clients’ uniqueness. Her talents span public speaking, marketing, business writing, and, of course, career coaching. I was fortunate enough to benefit from her services at the executive MBA program at Cornell University. I give her a heartfelt and sincere recommendation for all potential clients and programs!
Nancy did a sort of miracle in two sessions. She is able to provide instructions for the best public presentation. I definitely suggest and recommend to consider the possibility of an investment in yourself with Nancy.
Nancy Ancowitz focuses on the entire presentation package, not just the spoken word. She quickly identified key areas of improvement and opportunity, and then followed through with real, tangible ideas and feedback that enabled me to quickly take my speaking to the next level.
